New records room
Deanne Parker holds a pair of scissors to cut the cermonial ribbon celebrating the completion of a records room at the Anderson/Cherokee County Access office in Jacksonville. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice work squad converted a storage area into a records room to handle the hundreds of documents on mental health and mental retardation patients seen by Access. Inmates who helped complete the project are in the background of the photo. Rick Bobbit, right, supervised the project for Warden Todd Foxworth. The work squad saved Access thousands of dollars in labor costs.
