60th anniversary
J.D. and Hazel Jones Wright celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 4. They were married in a home ceremony on May 4, 1947, in Port Arthur. The Wrights have two children, Deena Wright Wyatt and her husband, Bill; Mitchell Wright and his wife, Jerry. There are four grandchildren, Bert Wyatt, Mitch Wyatt, Jennifer Wright and Lee Wright. Mr. and Mrs. Wright have lived near Gallatin since his retirement in 1980 from the duPont Company in Victoria.
