CLYDE RHOADES

Funeral for Clyde Rhoades, 89, of Jacksonville, was at 10 a.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with Dr. John Brown officiating. Burial was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Restland Cemetery, Roxton.

Mr. Rhoades died May 3. He was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Roxton.

He worked in maintenance at First National Bank in Jacksonville, was a Baptist and an U.S. Army World War II veteran.

Survivors are his wife, Erma Rhoades and a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Billy Whitehead, all of Jacksonville; a sister, Edna Dusenberry of Paris; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
