MELVIN MORRIS LEVINE

Funeral for Melvin Morris Levine, 29, of Rusk, was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Rusk with Rev. Randy Sparks and Pastor Gary Christopher officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home.

Mr. Levine died April 19. He was born Feb. 28, 1978, in Houston to the late Harry Jacob and Barbara Ferguson Levine. He was a Baptist. He was employed as a tool pusher for Scan Drill Inc. and a lifelong resident of Rusk.

Survivors are his fiancée, Julie Odom of Rusk; a sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and David Bruce of San Antonio; four uncles, Ronnie Levine of Bullard, Donald Ferguson of Maydelle, Michael Ferguson of Handcomer and Steve Ferguson of Newport; 10 aunts, Florence Levine Allen and Becky Levine, both of Bullard, Donna White of Sugarland, Julie Ferguson of Austin, Debbie Ferguson of Crosby, Melisha Ferguson of Maydelle, Vickie Ferguson of Hancock, Debbie Ferguson of Newport and Janet Sturla of Florida, many other cousins and family.

Pallbearers were Jeremy Grimes, Justin Duke, Ricky Whalan, Neil Pierce, Joey Rowan, Michael Wayne Yancey, Jake Phillips, and Justin Ferguson.

Honorary pallbearers were Scan Drill Inc., Robert Wade Odom, Randall Matthew Odom, Timothy Allen Glidewell, Chip Lee Tulley and Jay Thompson.
