Clean-up is April 28, May 5

Rusk spring clean-up days have been scheduled for 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays, April 28 and May 5 at the city barn on U.S. Highway 69 and Conley Park. The dumpsters are only available to those persons living within the city limits or who live outside the city limits but are on city water service. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations will be enforced. Items that are not accepted include liquids of any kinds, whole tires must be slit or quartered, oil or oil filters, refrigerators, air condition units or any appliance containing CFC's (Freon), lead acid batteries, hazardous waste, chemicals, pesticides, paint, dead animals.
