Cavazos graduates basic training

Airman Matthew B. Cavazos graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

During the six weeks of training, Airman Cavazos studied the

Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches and received

physical training,

rifle marksmanship, CAVAZOS

field training exercises and special training in human relations.

Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associates degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Airman Cavazos is the son of Gary and Diann Cavazos of Jacksonville and is a 1998 graduate of Jacksonville High School.
