Raising the bar

Alto Lady Jacket pole vaulter Kayley Starr clears a 7'6" vault during the district track meet. Starr's vault was high enough to earn her the 4th place spot, qualifying her for the regional track meet at Stephen F. Austin State University on April 24-26. Other regional qualifiers from Alto include Devon Patton (long jump and triple jump), Brandon Wade (long jump and triple jump) and Taneshia Pope (long jump and triple jump).
