Cherokee County Relay for Life set for April 27.

The Cherokee County Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser of the American Cancer Society will be held from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday, April 27-28, at Mauldin Field on the campus of Jacksonville High School. The Luminaria ceremony will begin at 9:30 p.m., or shortly thereafter.

This year's theme is "NASCAR - Racing for a Cure...there is no finish line until we find it!"

The evening will feature live entertainment. A car show will also take place from 6-10 p.m.
