The engagement of Samantha Nicole Smith and James Clyde Meador is announced by their parents, James and Barbara Taylor of Rusk and Robert Meador of Jacksonville and Brenda and Hubert Brumit of Rusk. They will marry April 13 at Jim Hogg Park. The bride-elect is a senior at Rusk High School and is employed with the Army National Guard. Mr. Meador is a RHS graduate and is employed as a welder at Martin Lake Construction.
