Gallatin plans Gopher Fest April 14

The third annual Gallatin Gopher Fest is planned for 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Gallatin Community Center, FM 768 between Gallatin and Rusk. Trail rides are scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Activities include live entertainment throughout the day, a chili cookout, the Mr. and Mrs. Gopher Fest Pageant and the Gallatin Idol talent search and contest.

There will be plenty of food, including the gopher-on-a-stick, arts, crafts, raffles, silent auction, cake walk, dunkin' booth and more. All proceeds will go to the Gallatin Community Center.
