Chuck Hopson gives update on state legislation to Democratic Club

State Rep. Chuck Hopson, DJacksonville, presented an update on activities of the 80th legislature at the 9 a.m. Saturday meeting of the Cherokee County Democratic Club.

Dr. Michael Banks of the Save Texas Parks organization presented Rep. Hopson with a print of "The Official Railroad of Texas--The Texas State Railroad." Rep. Hopson had the designation of the "Official Railroad of Texas" passed for the Texas State Railroad by the Texas legislature. He introduced Article 11 of the current budget for funding the operation of the railroad for the next two years.
