RHSAA seeks new members

The Rusk High School Alumni Association, with more than 400 lifetime members, will soon be awarding several $1,000 scholarships to qualified RHS graduates. In addition, future endowed memorial scholarships have been set up to allow the public to remember RHS alumni and teachers through gifts that return scholarship funds to graduates. These funds were started with $5,000 each from membership dues. The Teachers' Memorial Scholarship and the Students' Memorial Scholarship will be awarded from the memorials whenever the funds reach $20,000 each.

Local residents are encouraged to "anytime, on any occasion, remember your classmate or teacher by making a contribution to these scholarship funds - your gift that keeps on giving. "

Memberships in the Rusk High School Alumni Association are life memberships and associate life memberships. Life memberships come from ex-students who makes a one time donation of $100. Associate life members are those persons who make one-time donations of $100. Donations/memorials may be sent to RHSAA, P.O. Box 711, Rusk 75785.
