PRESTON E. LIVELY

Funeral for Preston E. Lively, 78, of Garland was at 1 p.m. March 1 at Williams Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Hale Hinkley officiating. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park.

Mr. Lively died Feb. 26. He was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Grapeland.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Marceline Hendrick Lively of Garland; a daughter, Nancy McGee of Garland; a son, Randall Lively of Garland; a grandson, Christopher Slaughter of Garland; two brothers, Donald and Aubrey Lively; four sisters, Melba Smart, Inez Duncan, Lucille McDaniel and Lillian Lively; a sister-in-law, Evangeline Bowden of Rusk; a niece, Gayla Trevathan Garnett and a nephew, Mike Trevathan.
