RANDALL SCOTT (SCOTTY) MCDANIEL

Funeral for Randall Scott (Scotty) McDaniel, 18, of Jacksonville was at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jim Albright and the Rev. Clifford Taylor officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mr. McDaniel died March 17. He was born May 7, 1988, in Jacksonville. He was a stocker for Brookshire's Warehouse and a member of the Golden Harvest Church of God.

Survivors are his father and step-mother, Randy and Melody McDaniel of Tyler; His mother, Kathy Webb of Jacksonville; two brothers and a sister-inlaw, Jonathan McDaniel of Pittsburg, Okla. and Robert and Melody Saunders of Waco; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Christen and Michael Nelson of Bullard, Keeley McDaniel of Tyler and Christi and Warren Morton of San Antonio; his grandfathers, J.L. Bingham of Jacksonville and C. H. McDaniel of Rusk; his grandmother and her husband, Reba and Ron Berry of Whitehouse; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jonathan McDaniel, Keith Woodell, Danny Ramsey, Brandon Hutson, Tad Dover, Randy (Bozy) Willbanks, Justin Vaughn, Jesse Phillips and Dustin McCutcheon. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Morton, Michael Morton, Doug Morton, Brian Morton and Jake McDaniel.
