CHARLOTTE WALKER BREINDEL

Charlotte Breindel, the former Charlotte Walker of Dialville, daughter of Ollie Cobble Walker, died March 11 in Pittsburg, Pa. She and her husband, Jerome, whom she met at Camp Fannin Tyler, lived in St. Marys, Pa. They spent 12 winters in Texas at her brother's home near Reklaw.

A 50th wedding anniversary celebration honored them at the Reklaw home. Mrs. Breindel has kept in close contact with her Dialville classmates, most of whom still live in the East Texas area.

While in Texas they attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jacksonville.

The funeral mass was held March 13 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with her son, the Rev. Charles Breindel of Newport News, Va. officiating. Survivors are her husband, Jerome; five children Patti and Dave Kephart, Joseph and Joan Breindel, the Rev. Breindel; Jerry and Shirley Breindel, Gene and Rosa Breindel; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and John Lawler; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Vana Walker and Lewis and Ann Walker, all of Arlington.
