2 students win calves

LANCE DEMENT

Lance Dement, son of Nita Blankenship, and Garrett Lee Jones, son of Terrie Sadler, both member of the Rusk FFA, were among the Feb. 2 winners in the calf scramble at the Southwest Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth. Sponsor of Lance's calf was Joe Rider Propane of Azel.

He was presented a $500 certificate to purchase a registered beef or dairy heifer by Edward P. Bass, show chairman.

Sponsors for Garrett's effort are Mike and Rosie Moncrief of Fort Worth. Garrett was presented a $500 certificate by Edward P. Bass, show chairman.
