TRESSIE LEE PIERCE

Funeral for Tressie Lee Pierce, 87, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Autry Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Carroll and the Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial was in Mixon Cemetery.

Mrs. Pierce died March 10. She was born March 3, 1920, in Jacksonville and worked at Marja Bra Factory and Nan Travis Clinic. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Kirby; two sisters, Louisa Webb and Margie Henderson and a brother, Loy Alexander. Survivors are her husband, V.D. Pierce of Jacksonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Jerry Spencer of Garrison, Sue Holloway of Mixon, Patsy and Joe Murray of Tecula; a brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Bernice Alexander of Mixon, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Irene Northcutt, Christene and Don Maxwell; and a sister-in-law, Opal Yancey. Pallbearers were Matt Luna, Bill Johannsen, Kip Franklin, Bobby Murray, Barry Murray, Dale Cavazoz. Honorary pallbearers were James Burns, Brandy Murray, Cade Luna, Jaxson Murray, J.C. Johannsen, Christopher Franklin and Nathaniel Franklin.
