CHESTER RAY CREWS

Graveside service for Chester Ray Crews, 74, of McGregor, was at 2 p.m. March 7 in Atoy Cemetery with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Crews died March 5. He was born Jan. 26, 1933, in Rusk to the late John Henry and Eva Lee Pursley Crews. He attended Rusk High School.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, John Woodrow Crews, Joe Morris Crews, and Lowell Henry Crews.

Survivors are four sisters, Alma Bernice Gambrell of Joliet, Ill., Georgia Doughty of Mabank, Helen Grimes of Gallatin and Winnie Tate of Waco; nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
