Alto Yellowjackets receive the golden touch
Alto football players receive state championship rings
Proudly showing off their 2006 State Championship rings are (from left): Brandon Thacker, Clayton Scott, Michael Parker, Clinton Dover, Josh Hudson, Derek Mumphrey and Jonathan Simpson. Kneeling in front is Devon Patton. The players received their state championship rings Monday during lunch period. Alto has anxiously anticipated the arrival of the rings since the Jackets defeated McCamey in the state finals in December.

The state championship rings feature a Yellowjacket placed on a bed of gemstones. The top of the ring says "State Champions 2006." The rings arrived in Alto and were given to the team members Monday.
