REBA FAYE BRADSHAW

Funeral for Reba Faye Bradshaw, 97, of Reklaw will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Reklaw Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Walles officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery under the direction of Dickie Allen Funeral Home, Cushing. Mrs. Bradshaw died Sunday. She was born Nov 11, 1909, in New Salem to Jessie B. and Elizabeth (Ibbie) Green Parnell. She had resided in Reklaw for 22 years. She lived in Houston and Baytown for many years and managed Miller's Laundry. She was a member of the Houston Auxiliary Corps during World War II. She was a member of the Reklaw Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her husbands, Herbert Bradshaw and Ira Russell; a brother, Jessie Parnell; two sisters, Anna Laura Dodson and Elise Rae Bray; and nephew, Chuck Bray.

Survivors are a sister, Billie Jean Byrd of Reklaw; four nephews, Bobby J. Dodson of Sugar Tree, Tenn., Mack Bray of Jackson Hole, Wyo., David Byrd of Tyler and Keith Byrd of Reklaw; two nieces, Sarah Summers of Beaumont and Aleta Faye Bradberry of New Orleans, La.; numerous greatnieces, great-nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Bob Parrott, Albert McBride, Fred Grimes, Steven Tugwell, Allen Eggbert, Wayne Mayes and Bob Wick. Honorary pallbearers are John Lilly and Aaron Higgins.
