EVERETT L. (BO) ROBINSON Funeral for Everett L. (Bo) Robinson, 71, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. F.E. Kenneth, the Rev. Mitchell McRight and the Rev. Benny Brooks officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery. Mr. Robinson died March 1. He was born July 24, 1935, in Jacksonville. He had lived in Jacksonville all of his life except the seven and a half years he spent in the U.S. Air Force. He drove a transport truck for several years and eventually went to work and retired from TDCJ. He was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle in Jacksonville. Preceding him in death were his mother, Catherine; father, Everett (Buddy); daughter, Kathy and granddaughter, Angelica. Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Barbara (Loretta) Robinson of Jacksonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Wayne Helmig of Payne Springs; a son, Jimmy Robinson of Jacksonville; his mother-in-law, Vera White of Jacksonville; two brothers-inlaw, Larry White and Elvis White and their wives of Jacksonville; special friends, John and Gracie Woods of Maydelle; a sister, Mary Ann Forrester; a brother, Scooter Forrester of Jacksonville; his step-mother, Evelyn Leonard of Alto; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Billy Hershiser, Mark Smith, Danny Crouch, Jim Carlile, Philip Watson and Brad Crawford. |
