VIRGINIA TAYLOR

Funeral for Virginia Taylor, 73, of Alto, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Linwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Declois Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery under the direction of O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.Mrs. Taylor died Feb. 25. She was born June 26, 1933, in Alto to Robert and Arizona Whitaker Griffin. She was a member of the Linwood Baptist Church, a homemaker and a cook. Preceding her in death were her husband, Tenola Taylor and brother, Woodrow Griffin.Survivors are five sisters ad brothers-in-law, Alzada and Orange Ogilvia, Leavada and Ike Jr. Tyler, Ella Ross and Virginia Wardlow, all of Houston; Mary Allen of Fort Worth; nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
