Graveside service for Alma Rose Burnett Rodgers, 93, of Pearland, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Providence Cemetery with the Rev. Max Brand officiating under the direction of Wallace Thompson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rodgers died Feb. 25. She was born Jan. 23, 1914, to the late Bonnie Elvis and Maggie Agnes McCown Burnett. She was a resident of Pearland for 11 years and was formerly of Woodville and Rusk. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rusk and Calvary Baptist Church in Pearland. She was a former employee of Rusk State Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Clarence Acker; second husband, Dan Acker; third husband Floyd Rodgers; a son, Joe Dan Acker; son-in-law, Glenn Hinson; and a brother Carl Burnett.

She is survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth Acker Hinson of Pearland; a stepson, Larry Rodgers and wife Carol of Woodville; grandson Dan Hinson and wife Selina of Pearland; granddaughter, Rosie Stroh and husband Nick of Frisco; great-grandchildren, Carrie Rodgers, Brad Hinson, Sarah Hinson, Sydney Stroh and Conner Stroh.

Pallbearers will include Dan Hinson, Nick Stroh, Brad Hinson, Terry Register, Bill Burnett and Lloyd Hicks.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at the funeral home.
