ROSEMARY HOLMAN DIERS Funeral for RosemaryHolman Diers, 59, of Jacksonville, was at 10 a.m. Saturday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Newton Hambrick officiating. Burial was in Still Waters Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Diers died Feb. 21. She was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Jacksonville. She was a former teacher, a member of Tyler Street Baptist Church and a graduate of Texas State University in San Marcus. Preceding her in death was a brother, Kent Holman. Survivors are her parents, Luman and Rosemary Holman of Jacksonville; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rhonda Diers of Jacksonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Matt Wakefield of Bullard; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wade and Betty Holman and Charles and Jodi Holman, all of Jacksonville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Bobby Holder and Nancy and Tony Bolton, all of Jacksonville and Diane and Bruce Stripling of Bullard; a sister-in-law, Patsy Holman of Dallas; six grandchildren, Payton Diers, Ruston Diers, Ryan Diers, Lauren Wakefield, Sarah Wakefield and Gage Wakefield; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Scott Diers, Payton Diers, Ryan Diers, Ruston Diers, Wade Holman, Matt Wakefield, Charles Holman and Randy Holman. Members of the Jacksonville High School Class of 1965 were honorary pallbearers. |
