February blood donors are eligible to win tickets

February blood donors to The Blood Center East Texas at 3520 N. University in Nacogdoches and 1607 W. Frank Ave., Suite 111, Lufkin, are eligible to win Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo tickets. Donors and those who try to donate blood will be automatically entered to win tickets to select performances at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Feb. 27-March 18 or a grand prize from Cavender's Boot City. The Blood Center East Texas is asking its donors to commit for life. That means donate once per quarter, allowing the center to contact them and encourage others to donate. The blood center is the primary supplier of blood components to eight hospital and health care facilities in a six-county East Texas region. For additional information call (888) 433-1733.
