L.C. JOHNSON

Funeral for L.C. Johnson, 63, Wells, was at 10 a.m. Thursday at Falvey Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jamie Lea officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery under direction of Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home of Lufkin.

Mr. Johnson died Feb. 11. He was born Aug. 16, 1943, in Alto to the late Horace and Venette Reed Johnson.

He lived in Wells most of his life and was a mechanic for more than 20 years for Great Western Trucking Co., Lehman's Pipe and Steel and others. He was also self-employed and was a member of Falvey Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Jason Johnson and Jeff Johnson, both of Lufkin, Chris Johnson of McKinney, and Clay Johnson of Saginaw; a sister, Linda Ellerbee of Wells; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
