Skunk hunting seminar slated for single women

A seminar designed for the single woman who is tired of catching skunks is planned for 9:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 3 at Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Entitled "How to Hunt for Skunks and other Misadventures of the Single Woman," the seminar will be led by Jonell Arrington, LMFT, a marriage and family therapist and preacher's wife. Mrs. Arrington practices at the Samaritan Counseling Center in Rusk. She will share from her own experiences as a former single woman.

The session is designed for the single woman who is having trouble finding a good man, sick of hearing people ask why are you single, unable to maintain a healthy relationship, confused about what you want and thinking about staying single. Registration fees are $20 for one registrant or $15 each for two or more registrants.

Florida Boys Quartet will perform at Neches Feb. 23

The Florida Boys Quartet will perform at the Neches High School gym at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23. The event is sponsored by the Neches Volunteer Fire Department.
