Broadcast keynote
Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst addressed the annual Texas Association of Broadcasters luncheon in Austin Feb. 6. In his address Gov. Dewhurst discussed his proposal to toughen laws against sexual offenders. He also said he supports more "sunshine on open government." Coming next week: Robert Gonzalez will report the highlights of the Free Flow of Information bill, along with an unintended consequence of the property tax bill passed last May.
