POLLY MCANALLY

Graveside service for Ethyl (Polly) McAnally, 92, of Jacksonville, was at 1 p.m. Monday at Old City Cemetery, Jacksonville, with the Rev. Robert L. Collins officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Mrs. McAnally died Feb. 2. She was born March 7, 1914, in Jacksonville. She retired from nursing at Newburn Hospital in Jacksonville after 53 years. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, John M. McAnally; granddaughters, Stephanie McAnally and Reann Cooper; and grandson, Eddie McAnally. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edward Lee and Beverly McAnally of Willis; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Johnny Johnson of Montgomery; a sister, Opal Rachel of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; six great-greatgrandchildren; one niece and her husband, Patsy and Robert Collins of Jacksonville; and one nephew and his wife, Billy and Sandra Partin of Jacksonville; a daughter-in-law, Geneva McAnally of New Caney.
