NETA JEWELL MCDANIEL BISHOP

Funeral for Neta Jewel McDaniel Bishop, 61, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Friday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Cole officiating. Burial was in Earle's Chapel cemetery.

Mrs. Bishop died Jan. 30. She was born Aug. 29, 1945, in Jacksonville. She was a sewing machine operator for 16 years at Sandbox Ind. and Brookshire Bros. in Jacksonville. She was a member of the Mixon First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Herman and Hazel McDaniel; three brothers, Hubert McDaniel, Aubry McDaniel and Johnny McDaniel; a sister, Reba Jenkins; and granddaughter, Rechel Benge.

Survivors are her husband, Howard Bishop of Jacksonville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda and Jason Myers, Tana and Billy Beaver and Becky and Shannon McGarity; grandchildren and spouses, Jarett and Lisa Johnson, Myranda and Jason Gilmore, Jeremy Johnson, Ronnie Rodgers Jr., Krystal Benge, Cody Cox, Rachel Benge, Chad Rodgers, Patrick Rodgers, Joshua McGarity, Brittany McGarity, Jessica McGarity, Kayla Myers, Dustin Myers and Austin Myers; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Johnson, Justin Stare and Catilyn Gilmore.

Pallbearers were Jarett Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Ronnie Rodgers Jr., Chad Rodgers, Cody Cox and Patrick Rodgers.

Honorary pallbearers were Dustin Myers, Gordon Strickland, Jason Gilmore, Austin Myers, Wayne Strickland, Joshua McGarity, V. L. Brooks, Randy Guillen, Joe Massey, Randall Cornelison and Terry Johnson.
