Corry Lankford earns academic honors

Corry Lankford, son of Lindy and Tony Simms of Alto and Billy Lankford of Rusk, was recognized for outstanding academic accomplishments by being named to the president's list at LeTourneau University for the fall 2006 semester.

The President's List recognizes students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 ("A") grade point average for the semester.

Lankford, who was the 2005 valedictorian of Alto High School, is a junior majoring in marketing and human resources.
