Ruskites participate in JC homecoming

Jacksonville College homecoming court includes in front, the four freshmen, Magen Ferrell, Mollie McKay, Megan Cumbee and Stephanie Boyanton; in back, are the five sophomores, Megan Morris, María Torres, Mary Lawson, Lauren Wood and Lawren Comer.
Two Rusk students at Jacksonville College have been elected by the student body as freshmen attendants of the Jacksonville College 2007 Homecoming Court this weekend.

They are Mollie McKay and Megan Cumbee.

Miss McKay is a home schooled student and the daughter of Jay and Karen McKay.

She is presently a member of the Jacksonville College cheering squad. She is working on a Junior College diploma. She will be escorted by her father.

Miss Cumbee is a graduate of Rusk High School, and is the daughter of Will and Ann Cumbee.

She is presently a member of the Jacksonville College Choir, Singers, and Trio, the Cross Act Company, and freshman class secretary. Megan is working on an Associate in Arts Degree in International Missions.

Her future plans are to be a missionary teacher. She plans to attend Dallas Baptist University after graduating from Jacksonville College.
