HAZEL DEE MARTIN

Graveside services for Hazel Dee Martin, 95, of Rusk, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Cemetery, Gallatin, with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Martin died Jan. 29. She was born Oct. 22, 1911, in Cherokee County and had lived in the Jacksonville-Rusk area since 1944. She was a member of Gallatin Baptist Church and had worked at the Basket Factory and at Nichols-Kusan in Jacksonville.

Preceding her in death were her husband, A.V. Martin, and daughter, Lydia Merle Martin.

Survivors include a son, Alvin Martin of Jacksonville; a daughter, Roberta Roberts of Rusk; a brother, Robert Underwood of Jacksonville; two sisters, Gale Anders and Sadie Lanear, both of Rusk; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
