BARBARA THACKER

Funeral for Barbara Bromsy Thacker, 40, of Rusk and Alto was at 1 p.m. Jan. 17 at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Foreman, Ark., with the Rev. Ronnie Keener, pastor and the Rev. LeRoy Welch Jr. of Rebecca Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hamburg Funeral Home of Ashdown, Ark.

Mrs. Thacker died Jan. 11. She was born Dec. 13, 1966, to Arbery and Magnolia Bromsy in Elaine, Ark. She was a member of the St. Matthew Baptist Church and graduated from Foreman High School in 1985. She moved to Texas, where she worked for 22 years as a CNA.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Algiee Lee Bromsy and Shelia Ann Bromsy.

Survivors are her father, Arbery Bromsy of New Boston; mother, Magnolia (Precious) Bromsy of Foreman, Ark.; seven brothers and three sisters-inlaw, David Daniels, John W. Bromsy, LeRoy and DeeAnna Bromsy, all of Foreman, Howard Williams and Devon Williams of Texarkana, Texas and Authur Lee and Sherry Bromsy and Lawrence and Shunda Bromsy, all of Ringgold, La.; eight sisters and four brothers-in-law, Linda and Earnest Henson of Ringgold, Julia Brown, Beatrice and James Tramble, Jewel Bromsy, Senda and Gregory Crussel and Lashonda Bromsy, all of Foreman, Trisha and Lawrence Echols of Blytheville, Ark. and Kesha Bromsy of Texarkana; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Marcus Sims, Kenneth Welch, James Tramble, Jerry CrayCraft, Elvis Daniels Jr. and Ivory Gilmore Sr. Honorary pallbearers were David Daniels, John W. Bromsy, Howard Williams, LeRoy Bromsy, Devon Williams, Lawrence Bromsy and Authur Lee Bromsy.
