Alto observes School Board Appreciation Month

Promoters of public education in Alto are encouraging persons living in the Alto ISD to say thank you to school board members for their efforts in promoting the schools during School Board Appreciation Month. More than 7,000 Texans serve on school boards and give of their vision, knowledge, leadership and time working purely for the common good of every child. The public is asked to recognize the commitment that board service requires as local trustees work with parents, educators and community leaders to develop sound educational policies in their district.

Board members are Freddy Johnson, president; Greg Duplichain, vice-president; Britton Tilley, secretary; and G.L. Skinner, Randy Low, Randy Sturrock and Teddy Pearman, board members.
