JAMES R. (JUICY) SEYMORE Funeral for James R. (Juicy) Seymore, 76, of Wells, was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church with Bobby King and Paul Mettlen officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery under direction of Carroway- Claybar Funeral Home of Lufkin. Mr. Seymore died Jan. 11. He was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Cherokee County to Samuel T. and Rachel A. Taylor and resided in Wells most of his life. He drove for John & Sandra Trucking Co., and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wells. Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Bobbie J. Seymore of Wells; three sons, James Michael "Mike" Seymore of Hudson, and David Wayne Seymore Sr. and Steve Seymore, both of Wells; a daughter, Leanne Casey of Hudson; a brother, Donald Gene Seymore of Wells; a sister, Beth Yates of Douglass; nine grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers were David Wayne Seymore Jr., Brent Seymore, Cory Smith, Brian Seymore, Gene Moore and Robby Hefner Sr. Honorary pallbearers were J.P. Dew and James "Popeye" Burroughs. |
