KENNETH HILTON

Funeral for Kenneth Hilton, 68, of Jacksonville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Wayne Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery at Gallatin.

Mr. Hilton died Sunday. He was born Sept. 21, 1938, in Jacksonville. He was a retired truck driver with 35 years of service, many of which were for Tyler Pipe. He was a Baptist, a member of the Jacksonville Masonic Lodge No. 108 AF&AM, Sharon Temple in Tyler and Order of the Scottish Rite in Waco.

Survivors are his wife, Nelda Hilton of Jacksonville; two sons, Mike Hilton and Curtis Hilton, both of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; a step-granddaughter and her husband, Valerie and John Merchant of Rusk; three step-great-grandchildren, Josie Merchant, Seth Merchant and Ella Merchant of Rusk. Pallbearers were Joe Masters, Lawrence Ellis, Don Davis, Bo Bollinger, Darrell Moore and Ray Allen; Honorary pallbearers were William Hilton, Karl McElvain, Luther Cook, Van Higbee, Ted Frazier, Carl Goff and Curtis Merchant.
