'Dirty Work at the Crossroads' auditions slated

Anyone who would like to be a member of a cast of bumbling characters and enjoys hootin' and hollerin' is invited to the Cherokee Civic Theatre, 116 West 5th Street, just off the courthouse square in Rusk, to audition for the last play of the season, "Dirty Work at the Crossroads."

Director Jerry Parker will cast seven women and three men in the old-fashioned melodrama. Also needed will be stage hands, set designers, etc.

Open auditions will be held at 2 p.m. Sundays Feb. 4 and 11; and 7 p.m. Mondays Feb. 5 and 12. All auditions will be at the Cherokee Civic Theatre in downtown Rusk, and open to anyone. For more information call (903) 683-2131.
