Birmingham Golf Course announces Super Bowl scramble

Birmingham Forest Golf Club will host the thirteenth annual Superbowl Scramble Saturday Feb. Tee time is 10 a.m. Cash prizes of $600, $400, $200 and $100 will be paid out to the winning teams. Entry fee is $40 per person. Format is a four-person scramble. Teams must have a combined handicap of 48 or more with 20 being the highest counted handicap.

Greg James Country Motors will sell BBQ plates to raise funds to help Ricky Herring with his medical expenses for cancer treatments.

The tournament began 13 years ago and was played in memory of the late Bill Middleton. In recent years the tournament has been played in honor of many friends and family who have battled cancer. For additional information or to register a team, please call the pro shop at 903-683-9518.
