Town hall meeting called for Texas State Railroad

State Sen. Robert Nichols announced a town-hall style meeting with State Rep. Byron Cook and State Rep. Chuck Hopson to discuss the future of the Texas State Railroad.

The meeting will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26 at the Norman Activity Center, 526 E. Commerce St. in Jacksonville.

Topics to be discussed include possibilities of future state funding with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as well as operating alternatives.
