SCENE IN PASSING
      Welcome - we are back. Thanks to new friend Roy Lenard White of Wells for sharing his view from Wells the past two weeks. It was a nice respite for your writer, which we hope to repeat. During this interim, we have moved several steps closer to graduation for all the seniors. Athletes have wrapped up one of the most successful seasons of play in several years.

HIGH POINTS FROM EL CAMINO REAL
      The smell of fresh cut hay is in the air along El Camino Real and folks are busy doing all the things that have to be done this time of year. There is hay that has to be baled for the winter feeding, crops to be plowed, fish to be caught and baseball game after baseball game to be watched as the little ones turn America's favorite pastime into a lot of work for parents and grandparents.
