I never enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces. I thought about it. I almost did it, but I didn't. Never the less, I have always been fascinated with our military and have been a strong supporter of our soldiers. Of the people who impress me most, veterans top the list. More ... What weather we could have had Saturday - but we didn't. It was lovely for the Gallatin Gopher Fest. Obviously, these wonderful people have launched an event destined for designation as "annual." One of the best known names participating was the gentleman with all the Edsel collector cars. Mr. More ... Folks along El Camino Real had to put up with another cold April weekend, but we will be wishing we could see some of this cool weather about August. I need to get my peas planted, but Virgil always told me if I planted them when it was too cold, they would come up possumeared, and wouldn't do good. I'm down to about 14 sticks of firewood, but I do have four bits' worth of news. More ... |
