FRANKIE PIPPIN

Funeral for Frankie Pippin, 102, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. March 26 at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Blaylock and the Rev. Wayne Thompson officiating. Burial was in Meador Cemetery.

Mrs. Pippin died March 23. She was born March 15, 1905, in the Turney community. She was a retired employee of Peacock Crate Factory and a homemaker. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Bonnie Pippin; a daughter, Joyce Nell Sanford and a grandson, Larry Sanford.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Nelda Pippin of Jacksonville; three daughters and four sonsin law, Mary Lynn and Homer Higgins, Nancy and Wayne Thompson, Patsy and Jerry Wood and Jimmie Sanford, all of Jacksonville; and nine grandchildren, Brent Thompson, David Pippin, Don Littlejohn, Jay Sanford, Michael Pippin, Chris Wood, Janis Reed, Donna Littlejohn and Susan Wood.

Pallbearers were Brent Thompson, David Pippin, Don Littlejohn, Jay Sanford, Michael Pippin and Chris Wood.
