Alto City Council meets tonight

Council to accept Debbie Dannelley's resignation

The Alto City Council will met at 6 p.m. tonight at city hall on SH 21 West in Alto. Items on the agenda include: 

• Discussion and Action with Shanna and Randy Selman referencing sewer problems.
• Discussion and Action with Darren Brooks on a salt water well across from city hall.
• Discussion and Action on award for generators with Allen Ross of Shaumburg and Polk, Inc.
• Discussion and Action with David Wicks of TxDOT regarding U.S. Highway 69 project.
• Discussion and Action to pass resolution to apply for TxDOT loan.
• Discussion and Action on Alto Yellowjacket Day.

The council will also address personnel issues relating to the resignation of Debbie Dannelley, city administrator, and will review the three-month probationary period of the court clerk. The council will also take action on calling a May 10 city election and will discuss the city's employee handbook.
