CHEROKEE COUNTY Texas Parks and Wildlife seeks public input on the proposed sale of 2 acres of unused railroad right-of-way adjacent to the Texas State Railroad in the City of Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas to an adjacent landowner. Texas Parks and Wildlife invites all interested parties to attend a public input meeting on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Rusk Civic Center located at 555 Euclid Street in Rusk, Texas. The meeting will include a brief overview of the proposal, a question and answer period, and an opportunity for public input. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Commission will take action on the land sale on April 1, 2010.
